According to Electronic Arts, the reason why Star Wars Battlefront has no single player campaign is simply not enough people are interested in it.
In a recent interview, the chief operating officer of EA, Peter Moore said that there are few people to play the campaign of Battlefield and other securities great multiplayer modes like Battlefront “indicate that data,” he said.
DICE said clearly that developing Battlefront is focused on multiplayer mode and reiterated that a player was never part of the plan because the team seeks players “relive the battles.” So Battlefront is a “multiplayer essence.”
That said, it will be possible to play solo and offline through the implementation of bots with artificial intelligence, which will take the role of other players. Star Wars: Battlefront come to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 17.
